A Ram 1500 already has the comfort for long hauls. The ModCAP System for the Dodge Ram 1500 2007+ adds a secure canopy and a way to sleep on board when you want it, starting as a flat-roof canopy and stepping up to a camper as plans change.
The Canopy, Camper and Family variants all share one modular base and swap over without replacing the system. Use the lightweight flat-roof canopy for work and everyday driving, add the Camper once weekend trips become regular, and move to the full-size Family for extended touring. Nothing goes to waste.
Fitment is vehicle-specific, matched to the Ram's body shape, tub and mounting points. ModCAP mounts directly to the tub for strength, with no reliance on drop-in liners. Overall weights range from about 130-280kg and heights from 840-1065mm above the tub, depending on variant, so the Ram 1500 stays stable, aerodynamic and practical to drive.
